County Recreation Centers are Free in 2023

Looking for an indoor place to do some walking this winter?  Look no further than the Wheaton Recreation Center (at Georgia and Arcola Avenues).  Housed in the same building as the Library, the Wheaton Rec Center features an exercise room, a gymnasium, a game room, and an indoor track.

Better yet, in 2023 County Rec Center passes are free for all Montgomery County residents.  Just fill out a registration form, show your proof of residency in Montgomery County, and they will give you a membership card good for all County Rec centers (aquatic facilities are not included).  If you have an out-of-town visitor, monthly passes may be purchased for $20.   ■
