Forest Knolls Neighborhood Reunion/50th Pool Anniversary Celebration to be Held on 23rd of June

By Linda Perlman and Mike Amitay

Mark your calendars and get in the swim — with music, community, food, and fun!  On Saturday, 23 June, from 4:00 to 9:00 p.m., at the Forest Knolls Pool, there will be a neighborhood reunion and celebration of the pool’s 50th year with refreshments, music, swimming, and special remembrances with original Forest Knolls Pool members and long-time Forest Knolls neighborhood residents.  Everyone is welcome, whether you live near Forest Knolls or not or ever joined the pool or not.  Non-pool members pay a $5 entry fee and all attendees are asked to bring a potluck dish to share (grilled items and beverages will be provided).

Forest Knolls Pool opened in the summer of 1962 and has served over the past five decades as a community meeting place and neighborhood nexus of fun, recreation, and relaxation.  Original pool members, Seahawk swim team alumni, and long-time neighborhood residents are encouraged to attend and share memories from 50 years of poolside enjoyment.

The Forest Knolls Neighborhood Reunion/50th Pool Anniversary celebration is being sponsored by the Pool, in conjunction with the Forest Knolls Neighborhood Reunion Committee and the Northwood-Four Corners Civic Association.

The Forest Knolls Pool is conveniently located in our neighborhood at 11105 Foxglove Lane (between Hannes Street and Loxford Terrace).  Don’t be left out of the water; join us for the Forest Knolls Neighborhood Reunion and 50th Pool Anniversary celebration.  RSVPs are encouraged; please view and answer the Evite at [Evite has expired].
