President’s Message

Greetings, friends and neighbors.  This past year we have seen two of our long-term issues resolved, hopefully in our favor:

1.  The rec center is now leased to a Montessori nursery school (see story).  We would like to welcome our new members and hope that the county (MNCPPC) and the school are able to iron out the details by this fall.

2.  Rachel Carson Meadow will remain in its natural state for now thanks to our local reps in Annapolis who have blocked funding for the soccer field.  The long-term fate of our lovely meadow remains uncertain as we are not sure what the parks people will do next.  Hopefully nothing!
