Annual Easter Egg Hunt to Be Held in North Four Corners Park

All Northwood-Four Corners-Forest Knolls families with preschool-aged children are invited to the Annual Easter Egg Hunt in North Four Corners Park, 211 Southwood Ave. (at Edgewood Avenue). It will be held on Saturday, 31 March, at 3:30 p.m. (Rain Date is Sunday, 1 April, at 3:30 p.m.)

The ‘Easter Egg Roll’ at last year’s Hunt was fun for both the little ones and their parents.

Special invited guests are the Silver Spring Fire Station 16 Crew [Saturday only].

The tentative schedule is as follows:

3:30 p.m.

Parents setup/hide plastic-filled eggs in playground; bunny hop and egg-roll activities in the field while eggs are hidden.
Kids hunt for eggs in playground.
Snack time/crafts.
Story time (if time permits).

4:00 p.m.

Visit by firefighters from local station 16 [Saturday only].

Participating families are asked to bring:

BYOB (that’s “bring your own basket”)
20-30 nut-free wrapped treats in plastic eggs per participating child
A nut-free finger-food tray of snacks to share with all.

The event is being organized by the Mastroianni, Nguyen, and Palmaria families, who would greatly appreciate if participating families help clean up afterwards.
