Join the N-FC Baby Network

If you are a home-based parent with preschool children (aged four and under), you are invited to become part of the Northwood-Four Corners Baby Network.

This is a newly formed group of stay-at-home parents who hope to share experiences, swap information, perhaps share sitters, and, at the very least, make friends with others in our neighborhood.  We hope to build community ties and prevent the isolation inherent in caring for one’s preschool children at home.  (It is presumed that parents of school-aged children have made contacts with other parents through school ties.)

Plans are to meet all together once a month, with age-specific groups (parents with two-year olds, say) meeting once a week or as they schedule themselves.

We intend to meet during the daytime, on a weekday, for no more than 90 minutes.  We will try to schedule our meetings at a time and on a day that are convenient for the most people.  We hope to hold our first meeting during the month of October.  If you are interested in joining us, please contact Jacquie Bokow [contact details redacted] for information about our first meeting.   ■
