Fourth Annual NFCCA Neighborhood Yard Sale

The Fourth Annual NFCCA Neighborhood Yard Sale was held on Saturday, 17 May 2025, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.  There were more than 57 households that participated!

Neighbors sold clothes, shoes, household items, baby toys, jewelry, books, games, plants, art, bikes, baked goods, furniture, and much more.  Many people gave away free stuff.  Other neighbors donated dollars to charities from sales of lemonade, cookies, and plants.

Children and adults walked the neighborhood on a hot, sunny day, browsing the sales, buying items, gathering free stuff, drinking coffee and cold beverages, snacking on popcorn and treats, chatting with old friends and meeting new neighbors.

Organizers Karen Donnelly and Julie Whitcomb hope everyone enjoyed the NFCCA neighborhood event and had fun!  (More photos online.)

The Stephens Family’s “donation lemonade stand” resulted in their donating $25 to Homeless to Home Husky Rescue and $25 to the MidAtlantic Turtle and Tortoise Society.  “My boys had a great time,” said mom Corinne.  “I love our neighborhood ❤️❤️❤️❤️!”

The Stephens Family were delighted they made $47.
