New Book Club Forming

I just finished reading this book and thought it was so wonderful that I felt selfish just keeping it to myself.  In the spirit of building community, sharing interesting literature and, most of all, having fun, I would like to invite you to the first of many more book club gatherings in our neighborhood.

Our first pick is The Small and the Mighty by Sarah McMahon.  A #1 New York Times best seller, this book is described by Adam Grant as, “From America’s favorite government teacher, a fascinating and fun portrait of twelve ordinary Americans whose courage formed the character of our country.”

Our book club gathering will be virtual (link to follow later) and in person in my home on 21 February at 7 p.m.  Please reply to me personally at [contact details redacted] and I will share more details.  Our first choice is American history based but we will be featuring other genres.  Join us and help us pick our next book club title!

The book is available through Libby from our Montgomery County Public Library system and also all audiobook and e-reader platforms.
