North Four Corners News ♦ June 2023
As reported in the December issue of the North Four Corners News, planning is underway for the University Boulevard corridor. The last time the Montgomery County Planning Board adopted a plan for the Four Corners area was in 1996.
In April, planning agency staff attended the NFCCA General Meeting to make a presentation (see below) and answer the community’s questions about this planning effort. Planning Board staff have held various other community meetings and listening sessions this spring. More information on these meetings can be found by clicking on the Past Events tab below.
Area residents attending these listening sessions raised a variety of issues, including concerns about traffic patterns, volume, and speeding through our neighborhood; pedestrian safety; economic development in the commercial areas along the corridor; density; and housing. ■
