As always, National Neighborhood Night Out was a really fun time for families. Jim Zepp organized the event, which was held August 2nd. Wonderful music was provided by neighbors Len and Wendy Seligman, who played songs from their newly released CD, Flow. Robin Loube kept the kids entertained, and many folks helped with the potluck, set-up, and clean-up.
We got to spend some time getting to know our county and park police officers, including the police horse who patiently sat through lots of petting and pictures. In fact, some folks had such a good time they forgot to take their dishes home, so if you’re missing a Corningware dish or a some Tupperware, call Carole Ann Barth [contact details redacted]. ■
