Update on the Parents’ Listserv

Parents in Northwood Park are beginning to meet and network via a new electronic listserv, first announced in the April edition of the Northwood News.  The listerv, founded on March 25, 2005, now has 23 members.

While it started out slowly with only a few postings in its first few weeks, it is gradually building momentum and postings have increased to as many as 13 in a week since late April.  Members are using the listserv to share information on topics such as consignment sales, school fund raisers and fairs, local play groups and day care centers, and many other topics of interest to families.
