Park Trash Cans Might Return

A number of communities are calling on the County Council to replace trash cans in the parks.  This was also a prominent theme at the October 21st Park and Planning budget meeting (see the park update article).

In January, the Council is expected to review the Carry-In Carry-Out Program.  It is possible that, with the support of one more Council member, this program could be repealed.  At the December 15 membership meeting we will have more information on this campaign and how NFCCA could be involved.   ■
